Here's a sketch of what I'm working on. Took the horse skeleton from a drawing i found online, drew it and added my own touches. The snakes with be all different colors of the rainbow. Instead of a horse, its a unicorn. I'm currently searching for glow in the dark paint for the piece as well! Thinking of doing this on a long canvas! Let me know what you think!
So recently I have been working on expanding my painting knowledge. I never went to art school and have never taken an painting classes.( that's called natural talent baby, LOL) I've been wanting to try some new things, but sometimes have no effin clue what I'm doing! So YouTube has been a life saver, you can learn so much on-line! Some of it was silly, and some really encouraging...silly because I'm thinking things are harder then they actually are and encouraging because sometimes my artist self-esteem is just not there..I'm hoping once I get things in order and start painting more, I will feel more confident. Well, I have been working on a new "dark forest" piece. Done with acrylic and watercolor. This project made me realize I also need to get some new brushes and supplies! I have tons of ideas that I just have not had the time to start! This coming month is going to be a crazy one. My niece & nephew are coming for a week, my sister for anot...
So my husband and I have been here in Denver now for about 9 months now and we are loving it! Now don't get me wrong, living in the mountains was amazing and we both definitely needed that, but change is great and I couldn't live life without a little now and then. Plus it was time for Ben and I to really start our own future. From the moment we drove into Colorado I felt like I was home, I feeling I was not as familiar with as I wanted. This place was amazing, visual and just down right inspiring. There just seems to be a general caring for here. The environment is just clean and vast. Anyways I could go on and on. Moving here has kick started the passion for creativity again, the excitement for the future and what it holds. So my goal has been to try and dive into the art scene here and get into as many art shows as possible.
